Poor sound qualityUpdated 2 months ago

If the sound quality is poor or if you're hearing buzzing sounds/static from your Sleepbuds®, please try the following steps. We recommend you go through these options in order. Often the first item will resolve the issue, if it doesn't, continue to the next one, etc.

1. Check the source of the audio. If you're steaming audio from an app (ex Spotify, YouTube, etc), try streaming from a different streaming app or try the built-in masking sounds if there is a difference.

2. Check that the Sleepbuds® are creating a seal in your ears to block noise.

3. Try speaking aloud. Your voice should sound muffled.

4. Shake your head. The Sleepbuds should stay secure.

5. Make sure that you're placing Sleepbuds in your ears correctly. You may also watch this video as a guide.

6. Remember to rotate the Sleepbud back and press the tip wing to tuck it underneath your ear ridge.

7. Make sure that you're using the right size ear tip for each Sleepbud. You may need a different size for each ear.

8. Make sure that the Sleepbuds are correctly oriented in the ear tips. The Ozlo logo on the Sleepbud should face outwards, and both charging contacts should be visible through the back of the tip.

9. Clear any debris or wax buildup from the ear tips and Sleepbuds nozzles. Clean only with a dry, soft cotton swab or equivalent. Never insert any cleaning tools into the nozzle. You may also check this article about Cleaning your Sleepbuds
