Errors updating firmware via the OZLO Sleep AppUpdated 2 months ago
If you're getting errors and are unable to complete the update of your Sleepbuds® via the OZLO Sleep App, please make sure to check the steps below. We recommend you go through these options in order. Often the first item will resolve the issue, if it doesn't, continue to the next one, etc.
1. Make sure to keep both Sleepbuds® in your Smart Case and leave the lid open during the entire update process. You might also want to check if the Sleepbuds® are properly seated on the case. The update will resume once both Sleepbuds® are placed in the Smart Case and the lid is open. Make sure the phone stays near the case for the duration of the update!
2. Keep your Smart Case plugged into a power source so it's charging during the entire update process. The update will resume once you plug in the Smart Case. If you have another USB-C Cable or Wall Adapter, you might want to try using those since a faulty cable/adapter might also cause the update to fail.
3. If you get an error that your Sleepbuds® can't be found, make sure that your Smart case is within 10 feet from your phone during the update. Depending on whether the case update has been completed or not, you might be able to resume the update or you might have to restart completely.
4. You may also want to ensure that you have the latest version of the OZLO Sleep App. You may update the app via the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store. (Android)
5. You may also uninstall and reinstall the app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store. (Android) and retry installing the firmware update afterward.
6. If you're still unable to update via the OZLO Sleep App after all the above steps and you have access to a computer, we recommend updating via our Online Updater instead by following these steps:
6.1. Connect the Sleep Buds to a computer using a USB cable and open Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge and go to http://update.ozlosleep.com .
6.2: Open the Smart Charging Case.
6.3: Tap 'Connect Sleepbuds'.
6.4: Select the product from the pop-up screen and tap 'Connect'.
6.5: Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Update Now. This process should take about 30 minutes to complete.
