This is usually caused by taking the Sleepbuds® out too quickly from the case. In general, you'll have a better experience with Sleepbuds® in all modes and use cases right now if you wait until the LEDs are slowly blinking before taking them out of the case.


We're working on removing this limitation so that you can take the buds out of the case immediately without any delay. But in the meantime, doing this prevents a lot of issues, including:

  • Buds not playing audio when being taken out of the case in Bluetooth Off mode
  • Buds not connecting to the phone automatically when in Bluetooth On mode
  • Needing to open the app each time to get the buds to work in either mode.
